Couples Therapy

I welcome all types of traditional and non-traditional couples, partners, and intimate relationships.

Couples counseling is useful for new relationships and well-connected or pre-marital partners who seek to build a foundation for furture relationship success.

Marriage and relationship counseling is also useful for long-term partners or spouses who are struggling and want to reconnect and repair, or for those who are considering how to uncouple.

In partner sessions we can work on:

  • Effective communication

  • Breaking down common argument cycles

  • Unpacking attachment injuries, betrayals, resentments, or disconnection

  • Differences in background, values, temperment, culture, or lifestyle

  • Sexual or intimacy issues

  • Parenting or family planning

Family Therapy

I welcome families of all shapes, sizes, and configurations, including mixed, blended, and queer families, as well as single, two-parent, or step-parent households.

Family counseling can be for a family group, or it can be for two family members who want to work on specific relationship dynamics.

In family sessions we can work on:

  • Establishing new roles, limits or boundaries

  • Bonding and attachment

  • Parenting or disciplining challenges

  • Processing difficult events or losses

  • Managing divorce or conflict
